The Maui News reported today that a University of Hawaii Economic Research Organization (UHERO) report forecasts "a long and deep downturn for the Hawaii visitor industry".
The UHERO report mentions that the falloff in visitors will stabilize later this year, but will see only modest recovery in 2010-11.

I read this too at Maui News. Sad news... but I am hopeful. I am hopeful it will get better.
