Aloha Kakou:

Kaanapali Resort is preparing for the Maui Marathon. There are two races; the half marathon (Whaler's Village to Launiapoko Park and back) on Saturday and the main race from Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Center in Kahului to Whaler's Village on Sunday.
Tents and barricades are being set up along Kaanapali Parkway to help direct runners. If you are driving in this area today through Sunday, please keep alert for runners, officials and spectators. Likewise, the race will be proceeding over the Pali on Sunday morning; please allow extra time between Kaanapali and Kahului.

More D Builiding Painting

Aloha Kakou:

With the service lanai side of D building masked, the painters have turned their attention to the makai lanai side. Masking continues and painting has begun on the eave between D204 and D205. The backplates of the outdoor walkway sconces are being installed prior to the painting and the shades are installed after the painting is complete.
