With around only 8000 folks in Lahaina for Halloween this year, the Mardi Gras of the Pacific hardly lived up to it's nickname.
On the other side of the island, however, Paia picked up some of the slack, even though there was some rain during the evening.

New Lahaina Plantation Museum To Open

The Lahaina Restoration Foundation is on Friday opening a new museum dedicated to telling the tale of Maui's plantation life. The new museum is in the Wharf Cinema Center and admission is free.
